The Alstroemeria, commonly known as the Peruvian lily or Lily of the Incas 'Sunshine' or 'Summer Rose', with vibrant pink petals, yellow throats and dark speckle, are native to the Andes in South America.
They are clump-forming, herbaceous perennials that are known for their exceptionally long blooming period, often from early summer until the first frosts of late autumn or early winter.
The blooms are very attractive to bees and other pollinating insects.
