Beautiful orchid from the largest family Orchidaceae of the flowering plants, which number equals more than twice the number of bird species, and about four times the number of mammal species. The orchidaceae are widespread all over the world, in Nepal, tropics of Asia, South and Central America, above the Arctic Circle, in southern Patagonia, even on Macquarie Island, close to Antarctica.
