Amazingly colourful Easter eggs, called 'Pysanky', fine crafted like jewels by folk masters from the Ukraine. For decoration of the Ukrainian Easter eggs are used traditional Orthodox symbols, like geometrical shapes, triangles and spirals that symbolize the Trinity and the immortality, the mystery of life and death. In the pre-Christian time, the Pysanky were used as magical instruments to repel evil spirits, for a rich harvest and good luck.
