Описание: Beautiful painting of 'Capri Girl with Flowers' (oil on canvas, Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, Bournemouth, UK), by Sophie Gengembre Anderson (1823-1903), a French-born British artist, landscape painter and illustrator. Sophie Anderson was a major figure in the colony of artists at Capri, together with John Singer Sargent , Frank Hyde and others. Capri is an island, located in the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Campania region, Italy, a resort since the time of the Roman Republic, a popular resort for European artists, writers and other celebrities in the latter half of the 19th century.
