Fairy Queen by Sophie Anderson Fragment Description:

Fragment of 'Fairy Queen' (circa 1880, oil on canvas, private collections), wonderful picture enchanted with serenity, depicting a girl with wreath of colourful butterflies, painted by Sophie Gengembre Anderson (1823-1903), a French-born British artist, landscape painter and illustrator. The full title of this painting is:
'Take the fair face of woman, and gently suspending,
With butterflies, flowers, and jewels attending,
Thus your fairy is made of most beautiful things.'
It is supposed, that these three lines were taken from a poem by Charles Ede, but that’s just a guess.
