'The Summer Picnic' is a painting, created by the American illustrator Robert Berran (1923-2020), known for his historical romance and book cover illustrations, particularly those set in the Regency era.
The painting was used as the cover art for the romance novel 'A proper Match' by Dorothea Donley, published by Zebra Books in 1998. The work is an oil painting on canvas, capturing a romantic scene of a couple picnicking in an orchard.
