Dinigeer Yilamujiang is a 20-year-old cross-country skier, born in Altai in the western Xinjiang region, from a Uyghur Muslim minority. Zhao Jiawen, a 21-year-old who competes in Nordic combined, finished the torch relay whose final runners were Chinese Olympians from recent decades.
