Описание: Spectacular light show, representing spring, during the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Olympics at the National Stadium, known as the Bird's Nest, in Beijing, capital of China, February 4, 2022.
Held on the first day of Spring by the Chinese calendar, the event began with a performance by dancers waving giant LED glowing green stalks, meant to convey the vitality of the season, followed by an explosion of white and green fireworks that spelled the word 'Spring'.
The Chinese believe, that the coming of Spring, in a season of freezing temperatures, often breeds new life.
