Gorgeous vintage postcard from Germany by Wally Fialkowska, depicting a dachshund, that pulls on the ice a boy, who is using the basket as a sled, from which fall out toys.
This postcard, sent in 1920, is from a set of six card 'MERRY SNOW TIME', by Raphael Tuck & Sons, the world's largest postcard publisher in the late 19th and early 20th century.
During the London Blitz of the Second World War the company headquarters was destroyed including greeting cards, records and originals images. Today, TuckDB Postcards is a free database of antique postcards in an attempt to recreate those lost records.
