'God Bless America', a wallpaper for the Independence Day (Fourth of July), an American patriotic song written by Irving Berlin in 1918, sung by Kate Smith as a prayer for God's blessing and peace for the nation, which is often sung at public and sporting events, where national anthems are sung. Following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 the Canadian pop star, Celine Dion performed the song as a tribute to heroes.
