The Grand Staircase is a main guest entrance, created by Bartolomeo Rastrelli in 1751, arranged in the Western part of the stunning Baroque palace, the former residence of Peter the Great.
The festive decoration of the Grand staircase with abundance of gilding, included gilded statues as allegory of Summer and Spring, carved bouquets, caryatids, rocaille made in the Rococo style and cartouches.
