The beautiful rock formations, called 'Stone Wedding', situated east of the town of Kardzhali, near the village Zimzelen, Bulgaria, have been formed before 40 million years, when the Eastern Rhodopes were bottom of the sea. Most impressive are two reddish rocks, about 10 meters high, resembling a groom and bride. In the group which occupies an area of ??nearly 50 acres, there are dazzling white stones that resemble people gathered in one place, like a wedding procession.
