Snow sculpture, a replica in a half-size of the Hall of Prayers for Good Harvests of the 'Temple of Heaven' (TianTan) in Beijing, China, during the 63-rd annual Snow Festival in Sapporo, Hokkaido island, Japan (Yuki Matsuri, February 2012). The huge building with intricate designs on the walls was carved from solid snow block by Japanese soldiers and occupies central position in Odori Park, marking the 40th anniversary of the relationship's normalization between Japan and China.
