A close-up of the polypore mushrooms (Trametes versicolor), which resemble to the tail of the wild turkey, spread in a wide variety of colours throughout the world. From the Trametes versicolor was isolated the Polysaccharide-K (PSK), which is used as a boosting agent for the immune system in the cancer treatment of gastric, esophageal, colorectal, breast and lung.
