In recent years, in the month of February , which for centuries was defined as the month of the romance, Bulgaria has two feast on the same day. On February 14 are feted Saint Valentine and Saint Tryphon. Nowadays, Valentine's Day, which is a popular occasion for romantic dinners and exchange of gifts, is perfectly combined with the Tryphon Zarezan, a celebration of all vine growers and winemakers, gardeners, tavern-keepers and the fans of good wine.
