One of the most successful fast jet aircraft, Panavia Tornado F3 of the British Royal Air Force in training flight. Tornado F3 is a defensive fighter for long-range interception, with four Skyflash radar-guided missiles and four AIM-9 Sidewinder with infrared homing air-to-air missiles, plus an internally mounted 27mm Mauser cannon. It is equipped with Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS), which in conjunction with Sentry AEW1, gives a real-time picture of air battle. Since March 2011, Panavia Tornado F3 was replaced by the multirole combat aircraft Eurofighter Typhoon.
