White rose, a national symbol of England, is among more than 900 frozen flowers and leaves of 17 different species, which were used for decoration of wedding cake for the royal reception of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, in the Picture Gallery of Buckingham Palace, at the afternoon on April 29, 2011. Each item has its own symbolism, like daisy, which means innocence, beauty, simplicity, orange blossom - marriage, eternal love, fruitfulness, ivy - wedded love, acorns, oak leaf - strength, endurance, white jasmine - amiability, etc.
