The Israeli-born ethno-pop singer Ishtar (Esther or Eti Zach), began performing in clubs at 14 age with a stage name 'Ishtar', the name of Mesopotamian's goddess. Once Ishtar moved to France, she became a lead vocalist to group of spanish-speaking gypsies from Montpellier, 'Los Ninos de Sara' ('Sara's children') and together perform under the name Alabina.
