The leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius) is a nocturnal reptile, which originates from the desert regions of South Asia, the rocky and dry grassland of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran and northwestern parts of India. Unlike most geckos, the leopard geckos have eyelids. Due to their small size up 25 cm and minimum of maintenance, they have become a excellent popular pet, which live for up to twenty years.
