A romantic view of the British countryside, built on a meadow around a quaint cottage at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, east London, before the Opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in UK on the night of 27th July, 2012, which was titled the 'Isles of Wonder'. It was inspired by Shakespeare’s play 'The Tempest' and was directed by the English film director and producer Danny Boyle, best known for his work on films such as 'Slumdog Millionaire', 'Shallow Grave', '127 Hours', '28 Days Later', 'Sunshine' and 'Trainspotting'.
