The British stars Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham from the Spice Girls (a pop group formed in 1994), won a rapturous applause at the spectacle of the Closing Ceremony of the Summer Olympics (August 12, 2012) in London, UK, when they performed two of their greatest hits 'Wannabe' and 'Spice Up Your Life'. Closing ceremony, called "A Symphony of British Music", with variety of cultural programs and performances from Britain's top pop stars, was directed by Kim Gavin, UK's leading choreographer.
