A wallpaper with a little, lovely and fluffy Bulldog puppy, charming as the 'Sleeping Beauty'. The name 'bull' was added at the time when this breed was used in sport of 'bull baiting', made illegal by the 'Cruelty to Animals Act 1835'. Despite their fearsome appearance, the Bulldog is generally friendly, docile, tractable and gregarious, well-suited for living in apartments and urban environments. The phrase 'stubborn as a Bulldog' was derived from the behaviour of an agitated Bulldog.
