The 'Red Bull Stratos' pressurized capsule, pulled by a huge 55-story ultra-thin helium balloon, which were used by the 43-year-old Austrian pilot and athlete Felix Baumgartner, known as 'Fearless Felix', to rise high above the Earth on October 14, 2012, when he set a world record for skydiving in the stratosphere from 39 kilometres (24 miles) and broke the sound barrier, reaching speed of 1,342 kilometres per hour (834 mph).
