'Diana' and 'Moon Goddess' are splendid paintings by the English fantasy artist Josephine Wall, depicting two charming goddesses.
Diana is an ancient lady sovereign of the beasts and protectress of young and vulnerable animals. She is also the Goddess of the moon, symbolised by the diadem in shape of crescent moon, which she wears in her hair. The Moon Goddess Selene is depicted in a veil of glimmering stars, with face lighted up by the moonlit, emitting deep inner peace and love for mankind. She tenderly directs the moon toward its celestial journey and monitors the calmness on the earth.
