Leopard Lacewing (Cethosia cyane) is a species of Heliconia butterfly, native to South and Southeast Asia and widespread from India to the southern China and Indochina. Plenty of migrating butterflies were recently discovered in the southern part of the Malay Peninsula, including Singapore.
The local host plant adopted by Leopard Lacewing is Passiflora foetida, which is commonly found in wastelands.
