Blue Morpho Butterfly with Closed Wings Description: 
The Blue Morpho butterfly (Morpho peleides) is one of the world’s largest butterflies, with wingspan from 7.5 to 20 cm, bright blue with lacy black edges on the upper side of wings and greyish brown with many eye spots on the underside. Blue Morpho butterfly lives in the tropical forests of Latin America. The adults spend most of their time in the lower shrubs and trees with closed wings and the underside of wings in greyish brown colour with eye spots, serve as a camouflage against predators.
