Beautiful postcard for 8-th of March, which is celebrated as International Women's Day, depicting women in clothing with folklore motifs and colors, palekh painting (lacquer miniature, Russian kind of applied art) by Konstantin Andrianov. Konstantin Aleksandrovich Andrianov was born in 1932 in Palekh, Russia. He was studied at the Palekh Art College in 1951-1956 and then graduated from the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School. Konstantin Andrianov is a paleo artist, miniaturist with genre scenes from the folklore and literature. He is a member of the Union of Artists of the RSFSRH and his works are kept in museums as the State Museum of Palekh Art, the State Russian Museum and the Art Fund of Russia.
