The Denali National Park, Alaska is a home of the Highest Mountain in the United States. Denali (also known as Mount McKinley, its former official name) is the highest mountain peak of the State of Alaska, USA and all of North America , with an elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. It sits at the centerpiece of Denali National Park and Preserve in south-central Alaska and is the third most prominent and third most isolated peak on Earth following Mount Everest in Nepal and Aconcagua in Argentina.
