Churchill is a town in northern Manitoba, Canada, on the west shore of Hudson Bay. Because of its location directly under the aurora oval, Churchill is one of the top three places on the planet to see the Northern Lights and rumours have it that the lights can be seen 300 days a year. Although nature’s spectacular light show can appear any time of the year, February and March have the clearest skies and are an ideal time of year to view due to the longer nights and cold weather.
