The small town Homer in Alaska, located on the shore of the Kachemak Bay within the Kenai Peninsula, surrounded by mountains and the calm water of the bay, is one of a great place for soaring bald eagles photography.<br />
What made the area famous to photographers was Jean Keene, known as 'the eagle lady', who hand fed bald eagles in the Homer area for many years until her death in 2009. Many of the bald eagle photographs in the publications over the past 30 years have come from Homer, featuring one of Jean Keene’s birds.<br />
In many countries, the eagle symbolized absolute power.<br />
Eagles have fantastic eyesight, six times better than a human.
