Australian Shepherds Description:
Beautiful shot with two Australian Shepherd dogs, sitting on the snow in a snowy forest.
The Australian Shepherd is a breed of herding dog from the United States, developed in California in the 19th century.
The dogs are called 'Australian shepherds' only because they were associated with the Basque shepherds, that came from Australia to the United States in the 1800s.
The Australian shepherds are active yet easy-going dogs, great family pets, that love to romp with children. The breed is considered versatile, highly intelligent and easy to train, as herders, rodeo performers, therapy dogs, police dogs, drug detectors, service dogs, and even as search and rescue dogs.
