The oil painting 'Nobody's Spending Fool', created by Carl Barks in 1974, depicts the young Scrooge McDuck during his gold-digger days, carrying a heavy bag of gold through the muddy streets of Dawson City during the Klondike Gold Rush.
Also featured prominently is Glittering Goldie O'Gilt, standing in front of her Blackjack Saloon.
The scene is based on Barks' 1953 comic book story 'Back to the Klondike'.
The original 1974 painting has appeared at major auctions, such as Heritage Auctions.
