DescripciÃ³n

The Chung cake (Banh Chung) is a traditional cake of the Vietnamese for the Lunar New Year, with glutinous rice, pork meat and green beans, wrapped by bamboo leaves in a square shape, which is boiled about 12 hours. The Chung cake is invented by Prince Lang Lieu, 18-th Prince of Hung Emperor and symbolizes the Earth (according to the ancient Vietnamese perceptions).
