Grey pansy (Junonia atlites) is a very common species of a butterfly, widespread throughout South and South-east Asia, in the forested nature reserves, as well as urban parks and gardens. The grey pansy is a tropical butterfly with a wingspan of 55-65 mm, a low flying insect, which spend long periods, sitting on plants or on the ground in forest clearings, riverbanks, roadsides areas and boundaries of agricultural lands, situated at an elevation between 200-1000 m.
