Mushroom Cortinarius Archeri after Rain Description:
Cortinarius archeri is a beautiful species of mushroom with a smooth broad cap in a dark violet colour, which becomes violet-brown with age and very glutinous when it is wet after rain. The species is common directly on soil in eucalypt or mixed forests and on suburban lawns. This species forms a relationship with the roots of the trees and takes part in the interchange of water and nutrients between healthy trees and weak saplings or other in need.
