Aleuria aurantia fungus from Pezizales family, in West Lothian, Scotland, with a cup in attractive brilliant orange colour, which often resemble orange peels strewn on the ground, from where comes the common name, an orange peel. These mushrooms are widespread throughout North America, Europe and Australia and grow singly or in groups along the edge of paths and dirt roads, and may be confused with the poisonous species as Otidea or Caloscypha.
