Princess Diana in a stylish white ensemble with silk strapless dress embroidered with simulated pearls and sequins and bolero, which gets the name 'Elvis' from the stand-up collar. The 'Elvis' outfit was made by the fashion royal couturier Catherine Walker in 1989 and was worn by Diana the Princess of Wales to the British Fashion Awards in October 1989 and then on an official visit to Hong Kong. At charity auction, held by Christie's in 1997, the 'Elvis Dress', one of best-known outfits of Princess Diana, was bought by company which produces memorabilia 'The Franklin Mint' and later was donated to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
