Cute siberian husky puppy with white and black fur and blue eyes.
In almost all newborn husky puppies, the eyes are always blue. It is a dominant trait in the breed. Between 5 and 8 weeks of age, the color of eyes starts changing. Brown is the most common eye color, but many Siberian Huskies have striking blue eyes.
They can also have one blue eye and one that is brown, or blue and brown coloring in both eyes. The color of their eyes is controlled by a rare gene that few dog breeds have.
