The road between Madzharovo and Borislavtsi along the river Arda at the entrance of the dam 'Ivaylovgrad', is perhaps one of the most picturesque in Bulgaria and Eastern Rhodopes and is the only place in the country where there is still nesting vultures, real 'celebrities' that often come in the focus of the lens of ornithologists from around the world.
