Description: 'Sleigh Ride' is a beautiful painting, oil on canvas, by the Canadian artist Richard De Wolfe.
Richard is a self-taught professional freelance artist working in both illustration and fine art.
At the age of eighteen, his first collection was totally sold out, that supplied him with commissions for many months ahead. He went on to spend 25 years as an illustrator, producing paintings for national and international corporations such as General Motors, Pepsi Cola, Sears, Labatt’s and Sony.
Richard De Wolfe lives on a horse farm in central Ontario where he can study and paint horses, and rural life as well as the wildlife which is all around him.
His original paintings hang in private and corporate collections in Europe, the U.S., and across Canada.
