The Crown Imperial or Kaiser's Crown (Fritillaria imperialis) are flowers, which bloom in late spring with odour that repels mice, moles and other rodents. They are widespread in Anatolia, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and at the foot of the Himalayan, orange-red in wild and with various colours in the gardens, from nearly a true scarlet through orange to yellow.
