The zebra shark (Stegostoma fasciatum or varium) from family Stegostomatidae, which relaxes on the sea floor near the beautiful beaches of Similan Islands, the National park in Thailand. The zebra shark inhabits the tropical parts of the Indo-Pacific, the coral reefs and sands to a depth of 62 m. Because of the typical dark spots on a pale background, sometimes it is called a leopard shark (Triakis semifasciata), which lives along the Pacific coast of North America from the US state of Oregon to Mazatlan in Mexico.
