'Bride and Groom' ('The Newlyweds', 1915-1916, oil on canvas, The Museum of Modern Arts, New York, USA), is a famous portrait by Amedeo Modigliani, influenced by Cubism, with elegant elongated facial features and almond shapes of the asymmetrically placed eyes, like his sculptures with sharp edges.
