Description: Lotus flower (Nelumbo nucifera) in full bloom at the Botanic Garden in Adelaide, an oasis in the heart of the capital and most populous city of the Australian state in South Australia. The lotus flowers are widely distributed in the tropical parts of Asia and in Queensland, Australia, commonly cultivated in water gardens. White lotus is a National flower of India and respectively the pink lotus of Vietnam.
