A beautiful pair of Silver Sebright chickens which are living in a small farm at Vermont, the New England, a region of the northeastern USA, an oil painting on canvas by Amy Mosher. The Sebright (silver and golden) is an ornamental breed of miniature poultry, created in the 19th century by Sir John Saunders Sebright. They are usually one-fifth the size of the standard breed and have been brought by European sailors from the city of Bantam, a seaport in Indonesia.
