Chanterelle (Cantharellus cibarius), is one of the best known wild edible mushroom, with bright yellow or orange colour and graceful shape of a meaty funnel. It grow only in moist forest soil, emits a fruity aroma of apricots and has a mildly peppery taste. Chanterelle adds a pleasantly delicate flavor and texture to any dish, as an omelet, rice and chicken meat. It is excellent for soups and appetizers, a fresh green salad or pizza.
