Beautiful vintage postcards with greetings for Thanksgiving day, drawn by Ellen Clapsaddle. The first is an adorable portrait of John Alden and Priscilla (Mullins) as children, sitting behind a wheel for spinning. The second image of a charming girl, dressed as a waiter offering fruits, was painted circa 1910. Ellen Hattie Clapsaddle (January 8, 1865 - January 7, 1934), the American illustrator and artist from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, is well known for her souvenirs and greeting cards made in an admirable style of her era.
