Christmas is marked on the 25 December (7 January for Orthodox Christians) and is the Christian Holy day that marks the birth of Jesus, the son of God. Christmas remains the biggest holiday in the calendar. Christmas Day is a Christian festival, which today it is a largely secular holiday, celebrated with church service late on Christmas Eve and exchange of gifts on Christmas day.
