Описание: ' Late Snowfall' is a picturesque painting by the English painter Stephen Darbishire (1940). The artwork depicts still life of arranged pots with snowdrops and crocuses, the first spring flowers, on a farmhouse kitchen window sill, a symbol of the passing winter in anticipation of spring.
Stephen J Darbishire is best known for his Lakeland paintings of cottages and interiors of farmhouses, about life’s everyday moments, tranquility, and stunning landscape views through open doors and windows.
Stephen Darbishire is a senior member of the Royal Society of British Artists. He is also the President of the Lake Artist Society. Darbishire currently lives in a 17th-century farmhouse in the English Lake District with his family.
