The Fisherman's Cottage (Casita del Pescador), located in the enormous Retiro park, is one of the few remaining buildings that adorned the private royal gardens. The Buen Retiro Park (Jardines del Buen Retiro) is one of the largest parks of Madrid, Spain. The park belonged to the Spanish Monarchy until the late 19th century, when it became a public park.
